About

Meet Kristen

Kristen aims to save her clients time, money, and peace of mind. She above all, listens to understand what is important for the individuals and entities she works with, and strives to facilitate the best possible outcome. She works directly with clients to educate them about their rights, enabling them to come to informed and durable decisions. These decisions are then memorialized into a written, legally binding agreement. For divorce, she is also able to draft and file all documents with the Courts, so clients never step foot in Court.

Kristen G. Lyndaker

Before becoming an attorney, Kristen was a licensed social worker. At Columbia University School of Social Work, her focus was on family and child services, and she worked in the field with adolescents in Harlem and as a CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocate) in Queens, where she advocated for the best interest of children in foster care. While in law school at Pepperdine in Malibu, she worked for an adoption attorney in Beverly Hills. Upon returning to New York City and while studying for the bar, she conducted adoption home studies for Children’s Aid Society, and continued to do both adoption and foster care home studies and work in the field of family and children’s services while practicing her mediation skills and determining that dispute resolution was the area of law that she enjoys and is able to make the most positive impact in. Specifically, Kristen enjoys working as a Mediator and advocating for clients in Collaborative Law representation.
